A couple has just moved from Boston and settled into a beautiful new home in a small town. Just two months after their move, they experience a break-in into their home. Minor electronics are stolen and all seems well until intruders come back for a full home invasion. Why are they being targeted and what are they really after?
What made me decide to give the movie a try was seeing an Indian lead on the trailer. The plot began with promise but there were too many moments that didn’t make sense within the story. Especially given the backstory of some characters, some decisions seemed illogical. The ending wasn’t quit satisfying to my taste. I was hoping for more when it came to this movie.
What this movie did deliver was well built suspense that created a growing sense of foreboding. It kept me invested in watching what happened until the very end. If you’re someone who yells at the screen and gets frustrated at common sense not being followed, I wouldn’t say this movie is for you. However, if you enjoy moderate thrills with a speck of gore then this movie is worth a try.
