Immortals After Dark series by Kresley Cole

This is a paranormal adult romance series that doesn’t follow the typical trope of weak damsels needing rescuing. The passion is intense and the action captivating. What I love about this series is that taken together, all of the stories are connected in one way or another. I will say that in the beginning of the series, some of the connections between partners are rushed but as you continue through the books more time is spent to developing the relationship between characters. This series is supernatural romance at it’s finest.

Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter

The Lords of the Underworld is another adult paranormal romance series filled with the supernatural. The story starts off slow for some of the titles but they all keep you invested once the action starts. This series is connected as well but you can read each book separately if desired. I enjoy the originality for this series with its unique take on Pandora and the legend of Pandora’s box. The love scenes are scorching and will definitely leave you wanting more.
