Summary

Anna has been having a hard time after her divorce. She seems stuck in a rut of monotony filling her days with wine and voyuerism. One day a handsome neighbor moves in across the street and the possibility of new romance seems like a God send to Anna. Until she witnesses what appears to be a murder…or was it a bad hallucination due to the mix of wine and pills?

My Thoughts

This series seems to start off regularly enough in the same tone and feel as most of this film genre however it becomes obvious that this is more of a jab at how overly dramatic and ridiculous these films can be! It’s strange that when you watch movies like The Woman in the Window, The Girl on the Train, or Gone Girl, you don’t tend to notice how over the top they are. Granted they don’t push as much as this series did, but that was a part of the fun of this show. Overall I enjoyed watching this series and if you are a fan of any of the above films I mentioned or this genre in general then I think you are in for a good laugh!
