As changes rapidly make its way into our government makeup I was struck with the need to understand more about how our government works. Lucky for me, there is a show on Netflix breaking down some different components of the United States government.

My Thoughts
There were different things I learned watching this show. Like how the USDA helps and how “Big Agriculture” hurts us. How underfunded FEMA is. How some companies are looking to limit the public weather information we get behind a paywall. How FDIC might be one of the smoother running government programs. And much more!
The G Word with Adam Conover is a comical and light hearted way to break down aspects of our government. Now more than ever it is important to understand why and how government programs came to exist and what improvements still need to happen. I highly recommend you give it a watch and share your thoughts in the comments below!
